UK Seasonality

We import ginger all year round.
Use grated ginger, olive oil, balsamic, soy and brown sugar as a marinade for chops, steaks and chicken

How to prepare

The skin is generally removed before using, this is easier with the tip of a teaspoon rather than a peeler as you can work around all the nooks and crannies. Chop or grate as desired, and add to curries, soups, puds, and even juices.

Storage

Store in the fridge or at room temperature. Best used within a week of purchase. It will freeze well too and can be peeled and grated straight from the freezer.

  • Grown by La Grama, Peru

La Grama partner with small-scale farmers across Peru’s three regions: the rainforest, the Andes mountains, and the coastal desert. They source brilliant organic fruit and veg (including our turmeric and ginger roots), support local farming communities, and work in harmony with nature on this richly biodiverse land.
