About
This pork and fennel salami – winner of a Gold Award at the British Charcuterie Awards 2021 – is made by expert British charcutiers Rare & Pasture. It’s traditionally crafted in the style of a finocchiona salami; subtle aniseed notes complement the sweetness of the organic pork, giving a lovely, classically Italian flavour.
Rare & Pasture choose richly flavoursome Oxford Sandy and Black pork for this salami. These heritage breeds are reared in very small herds, roaming and foraging in the woodlands around Fowlescombe Farm in South Devon.
Please note – because this salami is ready to eat (not raw), it doesn’t get packed in our special chilled meat packaging, and therefore doesn’t count towards our minimum meat spend (£15). You can buy just this and no other meat, if you like.
