Belton Farm

For three generations, the Beckett family of Belton Farm have championed farming and cheesemaking traditions in the heart of Shropshire. They only use the very best, locally sourced ingredients – including grass-fed milk from a dedicated group of local dairy farmers, who pride themselves on the health and welfare of their cows.

The Becketts source their salt from the historic Cheshire salt mines. The bespoke cultures used to start the cheesemaking process are unique to the farm, and a closely guarded secret.

Their team of master cheesemakers have lots of experience and expertise. They know how to celebrate the best of the old and of the new; many of their traditional handcrafting techniques have been used for generations, but are combined with the latest technology to make cheese that’s outstanding every time
